  • Mobile phone numbers in China contain eleven digits. The first three digits (the mobile phone prefix) signify the cellular network to which the number belongs.

  • When calling a mobile phone from a fixed line within China, always dial the Domestic Access Code "0" before the eleven-digit number. Do not dial this access code when calling from another country. When calling a mobile phone from another mobile phone within China, omit the Domestic Access Code "0" and simply dial the mobile phone number.
  • When making an international call to a mobile phone in China, dial: China's country code [86] + mobile phone prefix + remaining eight digits of mobile phone number.
